I have know Neil for over 30 years, working for GKN and then latterly for The Phillips Screw Company.

This story is typical of the man and goes back nearly twenty years.

The late Barry Hughes and myself introduced Neil to the Ulti-Mate® Screw at Owlett-Jaton.

He was immediately enthused and stated that once we had proven how well the product performs he would replace the current SupaXpress Screw with Ulti-Mate.

True to his word Owlett-Jaton placed the first orders for the Ulti-Mate Screw in 2001, supplying Travis Perkins and Jewsons amongst others.

The rest, as they say, is history, because today Ulti-Mate is a substantial multi-million dollar business.

Neil has been a close friend and colleague and I will miss him greatly.
