During the summer, our grandson Tom came dog walking with me & I started to tell him some of your stories, most of which he was too young to have heard before. And it struck me that you managed to get into mischief all over the world! From pedalling a rickshaw uphill in Malaysia because you felt sorry for the 70 year old driver, to pretending to fence with Phil with French sticks in an aisle of an American supermarket, to pressing the wrong button in a Portuguese supermarket lift (also with Phil!) & ending up with your trolley in the owner’s lounge , not to mention being ordered out of your car by German armed border guards when you said “Yes” at the same time your colleague said “No” as answer to a security question!! Tom really enjoyed hearing about your younger self, as will Leo & Bonnie as they grow up, & although there are too many other tales to tell here, just thinking of them today makes me smile on a day which brings me to tears. Your joie de vivre will never be forgotten Neil , you are a true legend in our family, and we love & miss you more than we can say. Jan ❤️‍🩹xxxx
