Neil and I started at Grammar school at the same time 58 years ago. We both showed an interest in sport - football, Stoke City, cricket, and in Neil's case, cross country running at which he was very talented and successful. Neil and I (and others) went to our first Test match, at Nottingham, under our own steam, as 13 year olds in 1964.......it rained all day! But the cricket bug remained. Janette and family - please accept our deepest sympathies for your sad loss. Neil always raised a laugh with his wit and sense of humour. Dave and Pauline
