Neil was both mine (& my partner Tom’s) boss for many years.. I learnt a lot from him, especially on how to charm a customer. We had our frustrations, he couldn’t comprehend why I didn’t get excited about things like, a new design of wood screw & I would get frustrated at his habit of telling our customer “yes of course we can do that”, when the reality was that we couldn’t ...He would say to me afterward, with a smirk, “business lies don’t count”😂… RIP Neil xx
